Kazuyoshi Hirao, Ph.D. Founder
Born in Setagaya, Tokyo in 1955. Philosopher/Ph.D. in Educational Linguistics from The University of New Mexico. Former professor at New Mexico Tech. Founder of Metaph Lab and Jipangu Times. Completed the Ph.D. Program in Educational Linguistics at the University of New Mexico. Lived in the US for 18 years. Taught at New Mexico Tech for 10 years, and after returning to Japan, taught at a Japanese university for 10 years before founding Metaph Lab. He spent the last few years of his life battling stage 4 terminal cancer with 22 bone metastases.

1955（昭和30）年、東京都世田谷区生まれ。哲学者／教育言語学博士（Ph.D. from The University of New Mexico）。元ニューメキシコ工科大学教授。Metaph Lab創設者。Jipangu Times創設者。米国州立ニューメキシコ大学教育言語学Ph.D. Programを修了。渡米18年。ニューメキシコ工科大学で10年間教員、帰国後、日本の大学で10年間教員を経てMetaph Labを創設。骨転移22箇所のステージ４の末期癌と闘いながら余命数年の残りの人生を過ごした。
